Learning Disability Friendly Practice

We have been awarded Learning Disability Friendly Practice status.

This award scheme, led by the Strategic Health Facilitators shows which GP surgeries are changing so they are meeting the health needs of people with a learning disability.

Health Facilitators work with GP practices to check how they doing:

• they will have a learning disability champion in their surgery
• offer Annual Health Checks
• make reasonable adjustments
• and be person centred
