Appointments
Who do I see?
Routine appointments
All appointments, whether urgent or routine, are triaged by a GP, whether that be booked via the telephone or Klinik. The most efficient way for your GP is to do this by clicking here and filling out an Klinik form.
If you decide to book via the telephone, our team will access Klinik and take you through the questions you would have answered if you had used the online option.
Our current routine wait time is around 5 weeks for a GP appointment.
Outside of 8 am and 6:30 pm and at weekends, please call 111.
If you need urgent medical assistance, please dial 999.
Please note we do not accept appointment requests via email.
Telephone Appointments
Telephone appointments are available from a number of sources – doctor, nurse, Pharmacist, Paramedic etc.
It would be helpful if you explain the nature of your query to the receptionist who will then be able to advise you who to contact and when they may be available.
Chaperones
If you would like a chaperone to be present during an intimate physical examination, please let us know.
We have specially trained staff members who are trained in this regard, if they are not available at the time of your appointment, you may need to re book your appointment.
For non-urgent issues, please follow the guidelines below and choose the right service, which can help you without any appointment. This will help us being more efficient and making an appointment available to you when you need it the most.
Cancelling your appointment
Please make every effort to keep your appointment. If you are unable to make it, please cancel it as soon as possible so that it can be reallocated to another patient in need. Your help will avoid a significant waste of NHS resources and is much appreciated.
Extended Access
We work with Odiham and Old Basing Health Centre and Bramblys Grange Medical Practice as part of a primary care collaborative group (Mosaic Healthcare) to provide Enhanced Access appointments between 18:30 to 20:00 Monday to Friday and on alternate Saturdays.
Home Visits
If you need a home visit either complete an online form or call the surgery by 10:30 am
Whilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. In this respect , if you do need a home visit, you can help us by completing an online form or call the surgery by 10:30 am.
You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice on that day.
You may get a phone call from a clinician after you request a visit. A clinician will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed. Please bear this in mind and be prepared to provide suitable details to enable the doctor to schedule house calls.
You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
